Podcast Portfolio
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with over 20 true crime podcasts, offering in-depth research, ethical storytelling, and family-focused advocacy. Currently, I work with podcasts such as Big Mad True Crime, Canadian True Crime, Detective Perspective, Moms and Mysteries, and The First Degree, where I provide comprehensive research and writing support to ensure victim-centered and accurate episodes.
Big Mad True Crime
Role: Researcher and Writer
Episode Title: [Texas] 7 Minutes and 24 Seconds || The Sutherland Springs Church Shooting
Description: This three-part series was crafted with care and intention, focusing not only on what happened during the massacre at Sutherland Springs Baptist Church, but also on the long-lasting aftermath survivors and families have endured. It is a heartbreaking case, but an important one, and I approached the research with deep respect for those whose lives were forever changed that day.
Canadian True Crime
Role: Researcher
Episode Title: The Death of Darcy Allan Sheppard
Description: In this six-part investigative series, I conducted in-depth research to compile verified and accurate information. The series takes a non-sensationalized approach, focusing on the facts and honoring the memory of Darcy Allan Sheppard.
Detective Perspective
Role: Researcher and Writer
Episode Title: MURDER: Toby Beaugh
Description: For this episode, I researched and wrote about the murder of Toby Beaugh after working closely with his family. This was the first podcast they had ever partnered with, and it was truly an honor to be trusted with Toby’s story. Every part of this episode was approached with care, respect, and a deep commitment to centering his family and their experience.
Moms and Mysteries
Role: Researcher
Series: Domestic Violence Awareness Month Series
Description: In October 2024, I collaborated with Moms and Mysteries to produce five episodes highlighting domestic violence awareness, four of which featured direct work with the victims’ families. The series also included domestic violence resources, educational materials, and a nationwide drive to donate essential items to shelters across the United States.
The First Degree
Role: Researcher and Writer
Episode Title: Molly Franquemont
Description: For this two-part series, I researched and wrote about the disappearance and suspected murder of Molly Franquemont—a case I’ve worked on before, but one that felt different this time. For this episode, I had the chance to interview the lead detective, Lt. Alan Harnett, who walked me through not only Molly’s case but also the other cases connected to the same man. Molly’s cousin, Sam, was also interviewed and continues to be a tireless advocate, ensuring Molly’s story is told with care and truth.
